Waco, Texas stole a little piece of my heart.
From cooking Magnolia farms recipes in The Silo House to late night cheeto snacks in the kitchen. Texas did not disappoint.
Flying into the Austin-Bergstrom airport I made my way to Magnolia Market to tour the grounds. They were closed but I met a cute family also passing by and we captured photos of each other and walked around. I cant wait to go back to actually tour the inside of the shops and experience all this place has to offer!
I booked an Airbnb and it was honestly the cutest thing I have ever experienced. The Silo House at laughing Llama farms. You are introduced by Llamas who love to eat from your palm. The Silo was colorful and vibrant. Im a sucker for all outdoor showers so this was an amazing feature.
The Silo House was secluded and just far enough out of town to enjoy some quality down time. In this time recipes were cooked, wine was poured, and dancing was happening. It was a peaceful moment that I often reflect on.
The following day I headed back to Austin to catch my flight home. I had to stop for the infamous Torchy’s Tacos and see some of the beautiful Austin murals!
If you’re ever in need of a quiet weekend getaway this is the place for you!
